Officials said, 'Ten years ago, Z-Coil Pain Relief Footwear came on the scene, dramatically changing the way thousands of Americans manage their foot, leg, and back pain. Now, to celebrate the visionary creation of inventor Alvaro Z. Gallegos, the Z-Coil Footwear company has released a special, limited-edition Z-Coil 10th Anniversary Signature Shoe.'

Carolyn Roberts, owner of Feet Footz, Inc., said she had the unique opportunity to watch Al as he refined the development of the footwear.

She was “Reduced in Force” from TVA in 1989 and went to work for a records and information management consulting firm who sent her to Albuquerque, N.M., to work at the National Labs between 1992 and 1997.

She said, "It never occurred to me that I would ever see the footwear again."

Three years later, Carolyn and her husband, Ed, took their Airstream Trailer and went to the Balloon Festival in Albuquerque where, ironically, Al was speaking at one of their meetings. Carolyn was then on assignment in Washington, D.C., and had developed plantar fascitiis." (more)
