It was supposed to be Gordon and Pam Baugh’s retirement nest egg.
But running a small retail store, no small task even in good economic times, proved more financial hardship than boon.
So it is with the Baughs who are closing Springz, their therapeutic footware store on Lake Boulevard, sometime next month.
The Z-coil shoes the Baughs sold have provided pain relief for numerous customers since Springz opened in September 2002, they said.
“It turned out to be a healing ministry. We are grateful for that,” 67-year-old Gordon Baugh said.
