Testimonial of the Month: September

Simply Amazing! I CAN WALK AGAIN! Before I got my Z-CoiL shoes, I had to get a wheelchair just for simple shopping visits. I'm only 18! How embarrassing. Now when I go out wearing my Z-CoiL shoes, I get compliments about how cool my shoes are and I feel as if I can walk for an eternity! My pain medication intake has greatly decreased and I finally feel and look my age.

Since turning 14, I have had two back surgeries and six back injections and was facing a third back surgery to fix a ruptured disc. I have a genetic disc disorder and my spinal discs herniate and rupture about every two years. Now no doctor will touch me because I'm so young and have already had too much work done. I finally got a pair of Z-CoiL shoes, and it's the only thing that has helped me.

The people who sold me these shoes at the Z-CoiL store in Irving, Texas, were just wonderful. They were so very kind and understanding and just great people. I will definitely be a regular customer.

What can I say? Amazing shoes, GREAT customer service-what more can a person ask for? I will certainly be wearing Z-CoiL shoes until my time is up.

Feet & Footz Celebrating 10th Anniversary - Chattanoogan.com

9/10/2005 - Feet & Footz Celebrating 10th Anniversary : "Feet & Footz at 4422 Dayton Blvd. is celebrating the national firm's 10th anniversity.

Officials said, 'Ten years ago, Z-Coil Pain Relief Footwear came on the scene, dramatically changing the way thousands of Americans manage their foot, leg, and back pain. Now, to celebrate the visionary creation of inventor Alvaro Z. Gallegos, the Z-Coil Footwear company has released a special, limited-edition Z-Coil 10th Anniversary Signature Shoe.'

Carolyn Roberts, owner of Feet Footz, Inc., said she had the unique opportunity to watch Al as he refined the development of the footwear.

She was “Reduced in Force” from TVA in 1989 and went to work for a records and information management consulting firm who sent her to Albuquerque, N.M., to work at the National Labs between 1992 and 1997.

She said, "It never occurred to me that I would ever see the footwear again."

Three years later, Carolyn and her husband, Ed, took their Airstream Trailer and went to the Balloon Festival in Albuquerque where, ironically, Al was speaking at one of their meetings. Carolyn was then on assignment in Washington, D.C., and had developed plantar fascitiis." (more)

Boing-g-g | The Arizona Daily Star

"Some shoes draw doubletakes for their sheer impracticality - think strappy 4-inch Jimmy Choo stilettos on "Sex and the City."

Others earn stares for their unapologetic utility.

"I get asked at least 20 times a day about my shoes. When I walk through the lobby, people are pointing at my shoes," said Tony Gomez, an orthopedic technician whose favorite shoes have an exposed coil in the heel.

"I've gotten used to it because I know what they're looking at," said Gomez, who spends most of his waking hours wearing Z-Coil shoes." (more)
