Report Balances Misaligned Good Housekeeping Institute Report
(Albuquerque, NM) – Z-CoiL Footwear has been drawing a great deal of media attention nationwide. The pain-relief footwear company, based in Albuquerque, NM, was featured March 28 on WCBS-TV New York City. Consumer news reporter Kirstin Cole (photo) highlighted the footwear, featuring a Manhattan nurse who loves her Z-CoiL® shoes and excerpts from a recent Good Housekeeping segment. In mid-February, the Good Housekeeping Institute generated a news segment putting Z-CoiL® Pain Relief Footwear™ in an unfavorable light. Professional fittings were not done on Good Housekeeping staffers, nor did GH test people who were in pain before generating the report. (CBS Broadcasting Inc. “We were very discouraged by the report and the testing methods,” says Andrés Gallegos (photo), Z-CoiL President and CEO. “People were randomly put in the footwear, which did not guarantee correct fittings. The Z-CoiL® fitting experience sets us apart from any other shoe on the market.”
“Because the footwear can be custom fitted for each individual, our distributors get to know each customer and the individual’s needs,” Andrés adds. “A fitting may take more than an hour and some customers need follow up visits for additional fitting needs.” (more) PDF
