Salt Lake Tribune - when Good Housekeeping reader Ann Dorsey wore a pair

Salt Lake Tribune - Business (03/16/2005): "New footwear with a spring in the heel - called Z-Coils - promises to relieve foot, back and joint pain.

But when Good Housekeeping reader Ann Dorsey wore a pair, she fell and broke her ankle. (FACT CHECK: GH reported "a woman broke her leg wearing them (Z-CoiLs)". Is Ann Dorsey the women that instigated the GH investigation?)

Was this a fluke - or are these shoes dangerous?

Many of Good Housekeeping's testers felt unstable while wearing the Zueco style ($180).

Being fitted by a licensed dealer, the company said, would prevent those problems. Maybe so. But the elevated heel might strain the back and increase arthritis in the knee, said the American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons Communications Council." (FACT CHECK: The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons was unaware of the GH report until after it was released.)

On March 16th, the Salt Lake Tribune and several other publications reported that "Good Housekeeping reader Ann Dorsey wore a pair (of Z-CoiLs), she fell and broke her ankle."

Is Ann Dorsey the Good Housekeeping reader that instigated the GH Z-CoiL footwear investigation?

In your report, it is stated that the Good Housekeeping reader broke her leg. The Salt Lake Tribune reported that Ann Dorsey broke her ankle. Please explain.
