The Arthritis Walk 2005

The Arthritis WalkSM is the Arthritis Foundation’s annual nationwide event that raises awareness and funds to fight arthritis, the nation’s leading cause of disability. It is a tremendous opportunity to impact the lives of 70 million men, women and children with arthritis or chronic joint symptoms. Get your company involved or recruit friends and family members to form a team. Best of all, walk in honor of a loved one with arthritis and know you’re making a difference by raising funds to support Arthritis Foundation research, public health and public policy efforts to improve the lives of people with arthritis.

The Arthritis WalkSM takes place from coast coast each May, kicking off National Arthritis Month. Choose from a 5K or 1-mile course. Men, women and children with arthritis will lead the way wearing special blue "hero" caps to show that they are taking control of their arthritis. And during the Walk you'll have an opportunity to write an inspirational message on the Wall of Heroes.
